31st Annual Fordham Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference

The prestigious Fordham University Intellectual Property Institute is set to host its 31st Annual Fordham Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference on April 4–5, 2024. Esteemed leaders from government, the judiciary, academia, and the private sector worldwide will convene to engage in discussions and address pressing issues in intellectual property (IP).

Notably, on Thursday, April 4, in a plenary session (4A) on ‘Government Leaders’ Perspectives on Intellectual Property’ Prof Giuseppe Mazziotti will join high representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit (New York) to discuss global IP law reform proposals and the importance of stakeholder engagement in policy making. 

Adding to an authoritative lineup of international speakers, Prof. Mazziotti will present Fair MusE as an example of publicly funded, independent research based on a multi-stakeholder dialogue on the present and future of creators’ rights in Europe’s digital music ecosystem.
